EMS Software provides the meeting and room scheduling software used by Oberlin College.

EMS Troubleshooting

I get an error message when sending a confirmation. What should I do?

Check the Password Stored in EMS

An error message may occur if you have changed your OCMail password but not updated it in EMS. To change it:

  1. Log in to EMS.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Click on Preferences. You should see an image like the one shown below.
  4. Confirm that your username is in the format of first initial–last nam (e.g., jdoe@oberlin.edu) as the screenshot shows.
  5. Confirm that the stored password is your current OCMail password.
