ctrl + mouse click Emulates a right click (for all you one-button-mousers out there)

⌘ + Z Edit Menu; Undo

⌘ + X Edit Menu; Cut

⌘ + C Edit Menu; Copy

⌘ + V Edit Menu; Paste

⌘ + A Edit Menu; Select All

⌘ + W Close window

option + ⌘ + W Close all windows

⌘ + Q Quit program

⌘ + M Window Menu; Minimize window

⌘ + right arrow Expand folder (list view)

⌘ + left arrow Collapse folder (list view)

Safe boot shift (immediately at startup)


Start Open Firmware cmd + opt + O + F
Eject CD/DVDs mouse down
Force PowerBooks to reset screen R
Single-User Mode cmd + S
Verbose Mode cmd + V
Override auto-login shift (after bootscreen, before login screen)
Safe login shift (at login screen)
Username/Password dialog instead of list of users opt + esc
