Help! I haven't gotten any new email messages!

For All Email Clients

  1. Verify that you are receiving messages by logging into Obiemail.
  2. If you see your messages in Obiemail but not in your mail client, verify that your account is set up properly according to these instructions.

For Mac Mail

  1. Verify that Mail is connecting to the server and that you are connected to the network successfully.
  2. Click the 'Get Mail' button in the main OS X Mail window.
  3. Enter the account's Email password if prompted for it.

For Thunderbird

  1. Click the button in the upper left hand corner labeled "Get Mail." If it is not labeled, the icon is an envelope pointing to a mailbox.
  2. Enter your password if you are prompted for it.
  3. If your password changed recently and you are having Thunderbird save your password for you, it may need to be reset. See here
