Automatically installing iPrint printers
Instructions For Mac OS X
- Open Safari (Macintosh OS 10.3 or higher). Other browsers will not work correctly.
- Point your browser to http://www.oberlin.edu/cit/iprint
- Click “Install iPrint Client” in the upper right of the browser window to install the Novell iPrint client and reboot your computer.
- Browse back to http://www.oberlin.edu/cit/iprint using Safari.
- Click the printer you would like to install. The printer will install automatically, including configuring the correct drivers for you.
- Test the installation by printing a short document. If you have any trouble with this, call the Help Desk at x58197.
Instructions For Windows
- Open Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher. Other browsers will not work correctly
- Point your browser to http://www.oberlin.edu/cit/iprint
- Click “Install iPrint Client” in the upper right of the browser window to install the Novell iPrint client and reboot your computer.
- Browse back to http://www.oberlin.edu/cit/iprint using Internet Explorer.
- Click the printer you would like to install. The printer will install automatically, including configuring the correct drivers for you.
